What’s up with all the magic shows these days?
It’s on TW shows, HK shows, ang moh shows, and more ang moh shows. It seems like more and more people are becoming magicians. I’ve always been intrigued by the way magic works, especially after I’ve watched The Prestige. It’s afterall a show of sheer brilliance and great showmanship, not forgetting the immense intelligence behind how each equipment is built to carry out the trick.
I myself have learned a few simple tricks from my brother. It’s fun but after you’ve discovered the thinking behind it, it’s really chey.
That night I was watching this magic show on Zong Yi Da Ge Da with my hunk. Mediocre stuff. Magician was pretty but her trick has been seen before on many other occasions. Doesn’t help that the rest did it with better presentation. And you can’t deny that men who can do very good magic can look really suave.
So I decided to give my hunk a chance to level up his hotness. Who knows he decided to go the other way around.
Me: 你会不会变魔术?
Him: 不会… 可是我会变肥.
Me: 那个每个人都会! 你可以变瘦的ma!
Him: 变肥比较容易…
Me: ……………
