I am back from Bangkok!

I’m so glad to be back! Our plane to Singapore got delayed by about 2 freaking hours! The ride back was quite bad because it was raining quite heavily and the plane was swaying up down left right and sometimes having sudden drops. OMG.

I miss Singapore’s clean air and transport, I miss my xiao bit bit and bear bear, I miss my brother’s nonsense, I miss my mother’s hand squeezed orange juice, and I miss my father’s random outbursts of singing while walking down the hallway!

It’s only 4 days and I’m missing so many things! Hahaha.

Hell, Bangkok is god damn HOT! The air is really polluted. I think parts of my lungs may have specks of grey dirt on my alveoli. And I sneezed a few times when the weather was obviously damn bloody hot, so I presume the place is really dusty as well.

This trip was really eventful. There were some ups and downs and my boy and I really learned a lot about the Thais and their culture. I think we may have experienced almost everything that needs to be experienced in this short 4D3N Bangkok trip.

We have:

1. Stayed in 2 hotels (some issues here with the Baiyoke staff, quite pissing)
2. Almost gotten lost
3. Walked kilometres to the BTS Station
4. Get harassed by tuk tuk drivers
5. Get rejected countless times by taxi drivers
6. Been stuck in a horrible traffic jam
7. Met Mr. Nice Guy and (who we presume as) Mr. Evil Guy
8. Got conned into visiting stupid Export Centers
9. Visited at least 4 temples
10. Saw the Lucky Buddha and Black Buddha (and most likely got scammed)
11. Prayed a lot
12. Farted a lot
13. Saw a Thai cockroach, a lot of stray dogs and cats
14. Told the Thais at least a hundred times that “we are from Singapore” and learned that some of them have visited Singapore and love the food at Golden Mile Complex
15. Consumed a lot of chilli and awesome Thai food
16. Did a lot of shopping
17. Had Traditional Thai Massage
18. Saw and heard a crazy Singaporean woman shouting very damn loudly at the hotel staff that, “EH YOUR SERVICE IS VERY BAD LEH YOU KNOW” (what a bloody disgrace, seriously)
19. Get teased/laughed at by the Thais (-_-)
20. Get sunburned and mild heat rash
21. Saw the one and only goal by Spain in the Euro 2008 Finals replay, by chance in the food court
22. Realised that we pretty much suck at bargaining

There are still a lot of things lah, but my brain can’t think already. I’m very tired I need to sleep! Tomorrow I gotta go to school to pay my school fees. School holidays are ending!!! >_<
