Mmmmm……

It’s past 2am now and I should really be sleeping because I have a breakfast date tomorrow morning with my boy. But I have just finished another episode of Sex and the City and am wide awake right now, puzzled at how mind-boggling relationships can actually get.
How do relationships get so complex anyway? Is it [...]

I Love Guitar Hero

Phone conversation with my boy:
Me: *sings* You’re beautiful…
Boy: *silence*
You’re beautiful…
Thank you.
You’re beautiful it’s true~
Thank you.
Hey! You’re supposed to be the one singing that to me!
*chuckles*
All you sing to me is that damn AVALANCHA song like as if I’m an avalanche falling onto you!
HAHAHAHA!
YOU ARE SOOOOOO UNROMANTIC!
*laughs even harder*
*pfffft*
You know engineers are the best kind of [...]

For the first time in weeks…

I actually woke up IN THE MORNING!!!
Finished washing my rabbit cage by 11am and now I’m eating bread with some quaker oats cornflakes.
But I still believe that I’m not a morning person. *yaaaaaawwwwwwwn*
Hmm, what else? Oh, I got woken up so early because my grandma keeps talking to the maid! And the maid can’t understand [...]

The Japanese are indeed crazy!

If you think that Michael Jackson’s moonwalk is awesome, you have to check out this Japanese dance duo called Hamutsun Serve. One of them moonwalked ON HIS KNEES! I promptly had a W-T-F moment when I saw that.

Just in case the embedded video becomes unavailable, click here.
Like seriously, where exactly do they learn all these [...]

Little Steps

Was on the train home today with my boy, and I playfully stepped on his Lee Cooper Loafers and went,
“Step step step! Step on you!”
And he said, something like,
“While you’re at that, you must know that I am willing to let you step on me like that.”
I merely laughed and said ya ya ya…
But I [...]

Our Childhood Dream

This afternoon while lazing in my room, I decided I need some soothing English music. I’m a little sick of Mandarin pop! So I searched my CD drawer and I found… THE CORRS!

The Corrs - Talk on Corners [1997]
As the CD started spinning, it reminded me of my brother and I when we were still [...]

Making Fun of Tampines One

My boy and I were at Tampines with my parents last evening to try the famous laa laa and bbq stingray at Tampines Round Market - they tasted just average - and then we adjourned to hang out at Tampines Mall.
After some shopping around at the surprisingly empty Tampines Mall, the 4 of us decided [...]

Tie a Tie

I’ve been watching Sex and the City, finally, and there was a scene where Carrie was helping Mr. Big put on his tie while he was getting ready for work.
Then I thought that I should really learn how to officially properly put on a tie, for a man.
The tie should look perfectly fine and dandy [...]

Hunting for Good Rojak

I absolutely cannot believe my luck.
Everywhere I go, there is NO rojak.
WHY LIDDAT?! I WANT TO EAT ROJAK!!! Okay, maybe it’s the places I visit but why can’t people sell rojak in Chinatown or Hougang or Bugis or Dhoby Ghaut? I have lost count of the number of times my boy said, I should open [...]

爱与希望

A song composed by JJ Lin, specially dedicated to everyone affected by the china quake. Very very touching song… :*(
If you’d like to know, Break Talk is selling ‘Peace Panda’ buns (S$2 each) to raise funds for helping out in the China quake. So if you absolutely can’t think of anything to donate, or is [...]
